Ajwain (Trachyspermum ammi (L.) Sprague) is strongly aromatic seed, has distinct ridges and tubercular surface.

Origin: Gujarat and Rajasthan

Uses:
In food ajwain seeds are roasted and sprinkled on many foods. Used as digestive aid and to relieve sinus congestion.
